My Artistic Journey
Ever since childhood, I have had a natural inclination toward creativity and self-expression. While I dedicated much of my life to a successful career as a psychiatrist, my love for painting remained a constant source of joy and inspiration. Today, I devote myself entirely to my art, and I channel my experiences and emotions into works that resonate with viewers and provide a sense of relief and tranquility.
As a self-directed and self-motivated artist, I have continuously honed my craft by attending workshops led by renowned living artists. Through hard work, dedication, and talent, I have earned recognition in the art community, including honorable mentions in prestigious art competitions. My Techniques
Indirect Oil Painting
My indirect oil painting process starts with a thick layer of modeling paste to create texture and seal the surface. I freehand sketch the image with charcoal and refine it using raw umber or sienna. Once the drawing is complete, I apply multiple layers of glazes, starting with the darkest values followed by the background. I continue to build up the painting in monochrome until I achieve the perfect balance of light and dark. Finally, I add local color to bring vibrancy and depth to the painting.
Acrylic Painting
In contrast to my oil painting process, my acrylic painting process is more intuitive. I begin by spontaneously throwing random colors on the canvas, creating an expressive foundation. Then, I refine the composition with drawing and collage elements, often using pastels to enhance texture and depth. I continue layering until I am satisfied with the final result, and the painting looks vibrant and full of energy.
